Teacher in Ra 29 (Mon - Thurs)
Kia Ora, I'm Niki Collins. I have been here at Te Totara Primary School since it opened in 2008. I have taught across all levels of the school and am excited to be joining the Ra team this year. This year I am team teaching with Brenda Wollen. She will be in the classroom on a Friday and I will be there Monday to Thursday.
I enjoy all aspects of teaching but particularly love Art and Physical Education. I'm looking forward to a fantastic 2021 with Ra 29.
Teacher in Ra 29 (Fridays)
Kia ora, I'm Brenda Wollen and I have been teaching at Te Totara since 2010.
In my time at Te Totara I have enjoyed teaching acros a range of levels.
I have a particular interest in the feild of Information and Communiation Technology (ICT), which led me to further post graduate studies in ICT. I am always looking for ways to integrate technology in the classroom to enahnce the teaching and learning for my students.
When I am not teaching I enjoy apending time with my family and our little piece of paradise in the country, where we breed Dorper sheep and graze beef cattle.
I love reading, movies, theatre, spending time with family and friends and the great outdoors.
Kia U! All the best!

My name is Sarah and this is my fourth year working at this wonderful school.
I have two children aged 12 and 6 and I am fortunate enough to have my 6 year old here with me at school.
Much of my teaching career has been in Auckland where I taught at Kelston Primary.
This is my third year working in the Ra team and I love working alongside such amazing teachers.
Please feel free to come in and meet me and all the wonderful learners in Ra 30.
Team Leader, Teacher in Ra 32
This is my fifth year teaching at Te Totara Primary. I love being part of such a warm and welcoming environment.
I was born in Hamilton but have lived in many different parts of New Zealand and also overseas. More recently I returned from fourteen years in Boston and New York. Living overseas was such an awesome experience, and one of great personal and professional growth, however it really made me value the New Zealand culture and education system. I am so happy to be home in Aotearoa.
I graduated from Waikato University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Education and Diploma of Teaching. In 2002 I completed a Graduate Diploma of Information Technology in Education through Wintech.
I live in Rototuna with my three children and know all the good coffee spots. In my weekends I like to spend time gardening, camping and walking in our NZ bush.
Teacher in Ra 33
I have over ten years of teaching experience and have taught at a variety of levels with most of my time working with Year 0-4 students. I began my teaching career in the United Kingdom where I taught at Hathaway Primary School in London. After traveling overseas I returned to New Zealand working at Bankwood Primary School in Hamilton.
I am a passionate, caring teacher and I treasure each child’s unique qualities. I enjoy helping children reach their goals and I work hard to engage students by making the learning fun, meaningful and motivating. I support a collaborative classroom environment and like working in partnership with whanau.
I am married with two school-aged children. As a family we love the outdoors and go camping, to the beach, on bush walks, bike riding and swimming often. I also like reading, art and crafts.
I am a friendly, welcoming teacher so please feel free to come and say hello.
